Hi everyone, I am so sorry that I haven’t updated my blog as I promised I would. The summer has just flown by and I have had lots of ups and downs to contend with.
So house update; No we still have not moved!!! I know, all was going well and then towards the end of August the chain collapsed, the last thing anyone wants to happen especially as its been almost 18 months since this process started. So we decided on hearing that news to fly out to spend time with our eldest son and his gorgeous family in Southern Spain. Most people by now would have given up on this moving malarkey by now but not us, we have a new adventure to start and we will get to where we are meant to be at the right time. Trust the process is our mantra.
So what does this all mean in relation to my art? Well my studio is still all packed up and ready to move but as I said in my post in June I am still creating with my essay writing and preparation for when I start my painting again. As I don’t know how long it will take to get the house resold and moved I am going to unpack a few boxes to get some new work on the go by the end of this month.
I don’t have any exhibitions booked for this year as everything has been up in the air, but I am going to book some for next year, and will put the dates up once they are all booked in. PS I am part of Pancreatic Cancer UK 31 mile walk for their October fund raiser. With having lost my mummy and cousin this year to Pancreatic Cancer I am trying to raise funds to the research into early detection as Pancreatic Cancer is usually detected too late in a lot of cases, as in my mum, she was diagnosed 4 weeks before she died and it was a total shock to all the family.
