This last weekend I was exhibiting at the Surrey Autumn Contemporary Art Fair at Sandown Racecourse, Esher.
What an amazing event. I have gone to that Art Fair there for many years as a viewer and buyer
but this was my first time putting my work in and running my stand, with the trusty help of Mr H-A.
We both had an amazing time and meet so many lovely people and made new friends from my fellow neighbouring artists.
The quality of work under one roof was better than any gallery in London, Paris, New York etc etc.
The best part was that you got to speak to all the artists and hear what they had to say about their work and not rely on someone else’s interpretation of the work or guessing what the artist was thinking or feeling.
So if you have never been to The Contemporary Art Fairs, they have 5 a year (Harrogate, Sandown, Newbury and Windsor)
The last two show for this year are:
Harrogate 14th to 16th October
Windsor 25th – 27th November
I am not showing at these fairs but will be going along to Windsor as a viewer and potential buyer. So why don’t you come along too. http://www.contemporaryartfairs.co.uk
Well that is all for now. I have to get my essays printed off and in the post for my buyers who chose to take my original artwork home this weekend.
